4D Scans

When is the best time for a 4d scan?? I'm 23+4 now I've got one booked for 27 weeks but don't want her to be too squished up or not fatty enough

They say between 26-31 weeks is best. I had mine at 27 + 4 and it was brilliant :)

Pics would be great too :)

Had mine at 29+1 weeks and the images were sooooooooooo clear!

Had mine at 32 weeks and it was a little bit on the late side cos he was big.
I think 28 - 30 is probably a good time.

Just a side note: I don't know if this will apply to anyone else here, but I have an anterior placenta and baby thought it'd be great to spend a lot of time with her head in it during the scan!

I booked mine for 27 weeks today, and cousin had hers yesterday at 26+3 pictures were clear! Just hope mine are lol x

In my first pregnancy I had one at 30 weeks and he looked great, a little chubby thing. I had a sneak peak in 4d at 16 weeks with current pregnancy and she looks a bit alien really. Going to have a 4d scan about 30 weeks again

I had mine at 27+3. The sonogrpaher said she was glad I didn't leave it much longer as I have anterior placenta and it kept going infront or his face. I had the HD Live 4D (which I would strongly recommend if you can get this done in your area).

@Katyx3 I think they were like that as I got the HD scan, ask when you go and see if they do it at your centre, honestly it cost a little extra however I would tell anybody to go for it it was amazing and so clear x

I had mine today at 26+3 it was clear but little miss was being stubborn and hiding her face so they couldn’t get too many pictures xx

These were at 23 weeks! It was v quiet at the scanning place and 3D wasn't even part of the package but the guy switched it over and got a few pretty clear pics! He got some of her dead on, but he didn't print them. To say she's still a t

**still got hardly any fat on her, we were pretty pleased with the images we got!

Ahh jelly they are great I'm 23+5 atm so gives me an idea of how he is looking/cooking! Thank you! X
