I'm 11+6 and still got a week to go until my scan. I've been worrying constantly. I have a question about something in particular that's been worrying me.
When you lie down, when can you expect to feel a little bump? I can feel a tiny little lump at the moment and although I had an early scan at 8 weeks I keep thinking the baby has stopped growing and that it should be bigger now.

This is my 4th baby and I experienced none of this anxiety with my other 3. I lost a baby at 9 weeks last year so I'm very anxious this time around.

I have 4 dc

With my first two i never even considered anything could go wrong

Dc3 i was a bit more aware

By dc4 i knew so many people who had had problems and i had read so many threads online i was definitley more anxious!

My first two i was blissfully unaware of chances of things not being right

As for bumps and lumps they can vary not even just for each woman but for each pregnancy

Id expect a small lump/bump by 12 weeks but that wont happen for everyone?

How old is your dc3?

Ah i've just reread and saw about your loss

How long ago did you last carry a baby to term?

I remember feeling a "lump" the morning of my 12w scab when I woke up and I FREAKED. I went for a wee and it went away, I think my full bladder was pushing him out 😂

Scan was fine and I'm sat with a rowdy 8 month old who has a face covered in porridge 😀

Scan*

My dc3 turned 3 in January so I last carried to term back in 2014/15.

Elektro I woke up this morning and I felt a huge lump and after going to the toilet it went down like yours did.

I just want my scan to hurry up Sad

I've carried very small both times, and personally found all bump disappeared back into me (I think I may have spread outwards like a puddle though Blush ) when I laid down until well into the 3rd tri. So having no bump when laying down in the 1st tri wouldn't concern me.

Try not to worry. You've not got too long to wait now for you scan, even though I know it feels like forever. It's understandable to be worried after having a mc, but remember it's far more likely to be absolutely fine than not. Can you do some nice things to keep you busy for a few days?

It sounds pretty similar then. Then happened quite a lot until I started showing which wasn't until about 24 weeks (that was my first though so I'm not sure than makes a difference for a growing bump)

Easier said than done but I'd try not to worry... you've no reason to think anything has gone wrong so try to enjoy your pregnancy! 😀😀

I've got a busy weekend coming up with Mothers Day and then when we get to Monday next week I'll be busy with usual day to day life so hopefully it will go quick once we get the weekend out of the way.

I'm still getting symptoms such as sickness and sore boobs so I suppose that's a good sign. Just terrified of having a MMC though!
