I tripped and fell on concrete yesterday at 34 weeks.
Landed face forward and bump took a hefty bump, though I managed to keep totally off it.
I was in a strange city so was taken to A&E who referred me to the maternity unit (which was an AWFUL facility compared to home) who were happy enough to send me home.
Despite getting the ok I can't shake the feeling that I've hurt my baby.

Did anyone else do this in late pregnancy and it all turn out fine?

I fell down the stairs twice in late pregnancy and baby was fine. I’m sure yours is too, trust what they said at the hospital.

Keep a really close eye on movements and any sort of pain, bleeding etc and rest!!!!

I fell down the stairs a few weeks ago and it completely freaked me out so i understand your worry
Luckily it was on my side but I was still very upset!

My mum fell down the stairs late pregnancy with me and had to be induced a week later because it caused problems with the placenta and I stopped growing!
Don't want to worry you but she was very relaxed about it and didn't get checked out
Only when the midwife noticed her bump hadn't grown at all did they send her to hospital!

You've done the right thing and been checked out but any worries don't hesitate to call the maternity unit! They would al I has rather check you than leave you worrying!

Hope you're not too sore xx
