Hi everyone I'm new to this and wanted some advice, I've been trying to conceive for 2 years now and I do the OPK pretty much every month. I did an OPK on cd16 and it was quite light so we DTD that night and I did another OPK on CD17 and it was positive, I also got the dull aching pain in the left hand side of my abdomen does this mean I will have ovulated this day? We also DTD that night too so I'm hoping I will have conceived this month. My question is do you think I will have ovulated on CD17 or should we have also DTD on CD18 as well? Thanks

Sounds like you probably did ovulate on cd17 but I don't think anyone can tell you for certain sorry.
Maybe try posting this on the conception page and you may get responses from some more knowledgeable people.
Good luck Thanks

Thanks for that, I'll try and do that then, just getting used to it so not sure how it all works.

Once you get the positive have sex for three nights on a run miss a night then again on the 5th day. It's helps if you also have sex when then test is getting darker so a day before the positive but that involves a bit of guess work unless you ovulate on the same day each cycle.

Also take two ovulation tests a day roughly 12 hours apart.

It says once you get your positive you should ovulate within the next 12-36hrs so surely I would have ovulated after 3 days? I think I should have done it the day after the positive as well but my OH (other half) wasn't feeling very well Sad

You timings were spot, the extra days are just that extra chances. You will still have a good chance this month.

Thanks, I've got my fingers crossed 🤞🏻
