Hello

How many DPO did you get your positive? ❤️

And how many months had you been trying? 🙂

EL332 · 07/03/2018 21:48

8dpo and 6 months!

EL332 · 07/03/2018 21:59

Wow @AJ89 that was an early test! I'm glad you got your positive after a longer wait ❤️

Was a bit of a shock. I'd promised DH 6-12 months of trying!

mischiefmanaged01 · 07/03/2018 22:10

16 DPO 🙊 we’d just started ‘not actively preventing’ so not trying... as such... but month this was the first month.

EL332 · 07/03/2018 22:14

I think I've heard and read so many stories of people trying for years that I've convinced myself it will take a very long time, it's nice to hear stories where that isn't always the case - I guess be ready for a wait, but also ready for a positive ❤️

18DPO, and we weren't.. Bubba was a contraceptive failure! Very shocked at first but now we couldn't be more excited Grin

EL332 · 07/03/2018 22:29

Oh wow @CobaltRose - how far gone are you now? 🙂

Seven weeks! It's especially amazing as I have PCOS and was told when I was 16 that I'd be quite unlikely to conceive naturally.

EL332 · 07/03/2018 22:38

@CobaltRose what a lovely story, you've given me all the feels! ❤️ I hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy 🤰

Aww, thank you! ❤ And I hope you get your BFP very soon Flowers

mischiefmanaged01 · 07/03/2018 23:02

@EL332 we’d heard all the horror stories about taking years to conceive that’s why we went with ‘not actively preventing’ first. Thinking it wouldn’t happen and then we will get into seriously ‘trying’. I have extremely irregular periods, however it seems like I ovulated at a ‘regular’ time that month. It’s all worked out well though and we are over the moon! Roll on June!

PrimeraVez · 08/03/2018 04:26

With this pregnancy, I had a verrrrrrrry faint bfp at 9dpo - so faint that I didn't even bother saying anything to my husband. I tried again at 11dpo and it was much stronger. (I still didn't tell him for another few day!) Think this one took 2 or 3 cycles.

With DC1, I think it was around 13dpo. We had been trying for quite a while and we were getting so fed up of seeing negative tests, that we promised each other I would wait until I was officialy late before I tested. I hadn't had any of my usual pre-AF symptoms, so I was pretty confident it would be a BFP.

Summer1986 · 08/03/2018 05:05

This time around 11dpo after 13m of TTC.
With my first MC it was around 12 dpo after 3m. We stopped TTC for various reasons for a couple of years.
Second MC about 11 dpo and 10m of TTC.

Gem173 · 08/03/2018 07:07

10dpo and 3 months ❤️

AnnaLuna · 08/03/2018 15:16

+16 dpo. 15 years to get pregnant 1st time (miscarriage) and 3 months second time.

lampert · 08/03/2018 15:26

11dpo first month. Like @ClareB83 I’d prepped my husband for a long road ahead of trying so just couldn’t believe we got so lucky first time!

TheCatsMother44 · 08/03/2018 15:43

I'm not actually sure how many DPO as it happened the first month we relaxed out attitude towards trying because we had been trying 11 months at that point and were getting disheartened.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 08/03/2018 15:59

13 DPO and 14 months to get pregnant x

gryffen · 08/03/2018 15:59

First time round we tried for 10 years and had no help whatsoever and had been told we would never have kids and boom - major illness and baby born november 2014.

This time round was only 3 months not even trying and had a BFP in November lol.

This time round I was 10 days later for period but impossible to tell since o have pcos eyc

claire7930 · 08/03/2018 16:16

We got our BFP the first month after we stopped preventing conception, so not even sure how many DPO that was because we'd not got as far as counting that sort of stuff! It was a massive shock as I'm late 30's & the previous month I'd had an op & the consultant basically told us our chances were very slim!

carryondoctor · 08/03/2018 16:45

Both positive tests were quite late to show up - about 2 days past period date. Had a few BFNs first.

DC1 conceived first month of trying (I was 37); DC2 is due shortly and was conceived the second month of trying (I was 39). i was extremely lucky; everybody's body is different.

Good luck if you're trying!!

EL332 · 08/03/2018 19:13
