First off I’ll apologise for even showing you this but I really need peace of mind, picking that over my dignity here haha. I’ve had 3 mc before, this is my fourth pregnancy, had last mc in January. Found I was pregnant again right after so unsure how many weeks etc. First off had my bloods done they were rising by 10 in a 2 day period, following that it increased only by 5 so suspected ectopic. Went back yesterday ( a week later) for bloods and my levels had gone from 200 to 1010. Was very shocked. Had another scan today as nurse all thought ectopic but found a little sac with a heartbeat in my womb. So shocked! But I’ve had this brown /black bleeding the past 2/4 days. Nurse said she thinks impantation but I’ve had implantation bleed before and it wasn’t like this. Opinions? (P.s I put a tissue over the pad whilst I was out today as I was worried about leaking through, although it isn’t that heavy, just me bein paranoid)

How are you doing today OP?

Catherine0201 · 11/03/2018 08:36

I won’t lie I’m absolutely awful, bleeding is heavy and is going through night pads, I’ve been throwing up, I can’t even stomach the thought of food, my pains have been severe I can’t sit stand like down comfortably

I think you need to get checked out. If you can't face a&e then the out of hours dr? So sorry you are going thru this

Nixen · 11/03/2018 08:42

Why the hell are you not going to hospital?! You need to go to A&E and sit and wait until you’re seen. Do not go home until you’ve seen a doctor ffs.

Catherine0201 · 11/03/2018 08:48

@nixen the reason I haven’t gone is because my pain heightened last night, I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a&e on a Saturday night but I did before with my friend. I’m not joking when I say it was 6 hours before we even saw a doctor. And we did not have a seat. There was no way in hell I was going last night to repeat what happened to me Friday night but just have more people there. Not to be niaeve or anything but what would they do as they wouldn’t be able to stop the bleeding that contributes to it. I’m going to go back in today but I just want to know what to expect, with my past miscarriages I’ve managed it at home as they weren’t this severe

@Catherine0201 yes I have been to A&E on a Saturday night and sat amongst all the drunks waiting to be seen.. because I needed medical attention and so do you. You’ve lost a lot of blood and need to be seen - today!

Catherine0201 · 11/03/2018 08:54

@nixen I’ll definitely go today I’m just not sure what they’re going to be able to do for me, the hospitals are far and I’ll be paying for taxi as I’m not going to drive and my boyfriends car isn’t working at the moment. I just want it to be worth my while as I’ve found a&e to be quite disappointing when I first went in for my first mc. They didn’t do much sent me home which is why I’ve managed the other mc’s at home

You are having a tough time. I hope you’re cared for today both at home and by some medical professionals. Flowers

MagicalCreatures · 11/03/2018 09:26

I’m so sorry OP. I too recently had a very traumatic miscarriage.
The advice to me was that if your filling and having to change a large pad every 2 hours then emergency treatment is needed. Is this the case with you?
Also, painkillers like paracetamol are fine to take. I take it the pains are that severe that your certain a miscarriage is inevitable. In which case I’m sure your ok to take something stronger if need be.
Also, when this is all over, get yourself seen, if you haven’t already, because this many miscarriages means you qualify for testing to see if there are any problems which are causing them.
Thinking of you x

Oh Catherine, you poor thing. Thinking of you Flowers

When I had my miscarriage I bleed at home , then went into hospital where they scanned me and confirmed the loss, they then took me to a room to discuss how I wanted to manage it I was given a choice of a tablet , the removal of "products of conception " by surgery or to just ride it out , we tried the rise it out but after two weeks it was too much. They took me in for the tablet and I stayed in hospital where they monitored me. In the end after another week I had To have the surgery.
I am not sure what else they can do , but u really so need to be checked , I also bleed very heavily with my 6 yr old and lost a clot the size of a newborn kitten ( seriously ) but he's fine , best of luck

LostMyBaubles · 11/03/2018 14:56

Thinking of you OP. Sometimes material can block the cervix and your uterus go into spasm trying to expel it leading to severe cramps and (eventually) bleeding. Glad to know you're in the right place. Flowers

PeonyTruffle · 11/03/2018 18:34

Oh op, glad you got yourself to hospital. Sending love x
