I'm 27 weeks pregnant and my stomach is so tight and stretched I feel like I'm about to burst. Is this normal this early on?

I've felt like this off and on for the last week or so and I'm 25 weeks. I reckon it was a massive growth spurt because my baby was measuring more like 26 weeks on Monday and my bump has really popped out this week.

I have only really had that feeling later on (currently 38 weeks) but perhaps you have had a bit of a growth spurt in the bump department and your skin is just struggling to keep up. I would just say keep moisturising/oiling your bump regularly. Unless it is your bump itself that feels tight and not the skin. I get this sometimes and people have suggested it's Braxton Hicks.

Have you done anything more active than usual? I'm 28.5 weeks and over done it today and paying for it now, aching all over, bump aches and feels tight like a permanent stitch, midwife reckons it's muscle strain and told me to take it easier . Hard when having to chase an active toddler round all day too
