WORMS and 21 weeks pregnant

Okay so please no horrible comments because I couldn't be more embarrassed honestly 😪 But I have worms & 21 weeks pregnant! I've got an appointment today at 3.40 with my doctor but I've read they can't treat during pregnancy ? Does anyone have any personal references to this and not from google 😫 Help someone please will this harm my daughter

My mum always said dove soap. Apparently worms didn't like it and would suffocate them.

Then again she was full of old wives tails.

They won’t hurt your baby don’t worry.

It will take about 6 weeks to get rid of them though. You’ll have to be totally scrupulous with hygiene. Keep nails short and wash lots. Wash bum hole as soon as you get up in the morning and wear knickers to bed. Ironing your gussets will kill any left over eggs as well.

For night times, take a packet of baby wipes and a carrier bag to bed. If you’re itchy during the night, use a babywipe to remove the glue and stick it in the bag. Some Vaseline round your bum will help as well.

They’ll die off and that should be the end of them if you don’t injest any more eggs.

Treat the rest of the house though and again in a couple of weeks.
