How many sleep suits?

My first baby is due in 5 weeks and I've been gifted lots of vests and baby grows already so I'm wondering if I actually need to buy any or if I have enough. I've been given:

4 x Newborn sleep suits
7 x Up to 1 month sleep suits
6 x 0-3 months sleep suits

Depends on the size of your baby. My 9lb plussers didn’t fit in newborn stuff and barely in up to one month! I think that’ll see you through and if the baby is bigger you can pop and get more.

My BF has three kids and she always has 8 of things.

I’d buy another 5 or so in newborn and 1 month, and leave them unopened for now so you can exchange if not of use.

What @MintyLemons said! Plus, i found that my DCs lived in sleepsuits as babies, and basically wore them 24 hours a day - no chance of gaps when it's cold and no *#%+ socks to lose!
