Some flecks of pink/red on the tissue when wiping...very faint. See pic. I'm 8+5.

I had this about... 10 weeks? I think it was. I was told that spotting between 9-12 weeks is really common because of the placenta taking over more or something like that. So you being 8+5 makes sense.

I wouldn’t worry at all

I have exactly the same and I’m 11+6... I’ve terrified myself over it, maybe for no reason. I called GP who sent me to A&E who did an emergency scan and baby was moving around quite happily. But the doctor who did the scan scared me by saying any blood can be a sign of impending miscarriage. Don’t know what to think now. Scary.

I've had this a couple of times so far and I'm about as far along as you. I ended up ringing EPU and went for a scan.
Saw baby and a heartbeat and the nurse explained spotting was possibly from an implantation bleed and showed me the site of the bleed next to the pregnancy sac. They said it's quite common and sometimes people don't spot and to keep an eye on it for the next 2 weeks or so and ring back if it's heavier or becomes like a period.
I can get quite anxious about these things especially as this is a much wanted and longed for second pregnancy but I do feel more relaxed since going to EPU and speaking to the midwives and nurses there.
