I'm 8+5 going by my LMP so still early.
I don't have many friends here where I live in West Yorkshire as I moved here to be with my ex partner. I've since moved on from him and met my current partner here. We've just bought a house together.
Most of my friends are still in my hometown where I grew up, as are my family. So it's difficult...
I have two friends up here, one is quite a close friend but has a lot of problems with her mental health so I don't see her as often as I'd like to. I have a handful of acquaintances and people I would recognise in the street to say hello to.
I have one reasonably close friend at work and a couple of others I would count as friends but not close.
I know I'll probably meet people at baby groups and classes after I've had my baby, but what about this in between time? It's really quite isolating and scary.
If anybody lives near to Halifax and would like to get in touch then please do. I hope this post doesn't sound too pathetic!
