Has anyone had this in early pregnancy? Went for. Scan today to get everything check as I noticed wiping away had an odd colour. They found a subchorionic haetoma above the gestation sac which measures 9 x 5 x 11mm I was just wondering if anyone had any success is it me being paranoid expecting the worst...

Yep, I had 3. Thought I was miscarrying, due to a rush of blood. Was on holiday, so ended up in hospital with progesterone suppositories and then a weeks bedrest. Btw turns out one of the side effects of progesterone is spotting. I had blood when I wiped up to 11 weeks. My EPU, has me in for weekly scans and were able to advise that the areas of bleeding were going down. It's so worrying though. No matter how many times I was told bleeding was the haematomas, I still worried. The bleeding did stop eventually. It's not been the easiest pregnancy (never had any of this with number 1) but I'm 30.5 weeks and he's a healthy wee thing. Hugs to you. It's such a hard one. I'd never heard of it before I was diagnosed. Hope you're getting frequent scans etc?

@seizethecuttlefish I hope you're okay 3 sounds awful! I noticed mine with a weird colour as I wiped and discharge was more of an amber colour but no blood. I have my first midwife appointment at doctors Friday so will keep her informed and request frequent scans and one for the hospital next Tuesday so will also request one then too. I'm hoping
It'll absorb itself and then go away and not come back!

Had a very large one this pregnancy. Babies were fine, no bleeding since week 15 and currently 27 weeks with two boys.

I had one at 7 weeks and it was found at an early scan I had.
I went for another scan a week later and it had been reabsorbed. I'm 11 weeks now and I've had no bleeding, so I'm hoping I don't get another one.

@lookingforaline18 @ClareB83 mines only small I think but worrying I just need to relax, Cary on and enjoy the pregnancy!!!!

I had bleeding and spotting from 6 weeks due to SCH. It's an anxious time but mine resolved itself by 22 weeks and DS was born safe and well at term (39+5). Fingers crossed.

These replies fill me with hope. They found SCH around the sac last Friday but couldn't see a heartbeat yet. I've had spotting nearly every day since before I found out I was pregnant and have now been bleeding for the last few days. It's a scary time, and I have no idea if we'll see a baby or heartbeat next Tuesday at my next scan. Feels like such a long wait. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancies

Yes, bled at 7 and 9 weeks. Pregnancy went well and sat here with 9 week o
old.

I had a hematoma in the uterus 3 times size of the baby at 9 weeks, caused terrible bleeding, 10 times in all, and at 12 weeks my PJ bottoms were completely soaked in red blood. The doctors said they expected me to miscarry but she was born fine at 37 weeks and is now 12 so even if you bleed loads it can be fine.
