How can I find out if Im carrying TWINS?!

I have never suffered sickess and have flown through tree pregnancies without any trouble, I am 7 wks pregnant and am feeling really sick and Im eating for England! I dont know whether this may be twins but I would like to know and now you only get a scan at 16wks and I cant wait that long. Does anyone how how I can find out or did anyone have any different symptoms with twins?

you can pay for a private scan, if you cannot wait until 16 weeks....do you not have a 12 weeks scan in your area?

Thanks for that, I will investigate the private route. They have just changed the scans in Birmingham from 12wks and 20wks to just one at 16wks, which is such a shame as the a really enjoyable experience.

I was like that with my daughter, convinced it was twins, big as a house, gave birth to a normal sized single baby!

Not really as I have a two year old and Im not sure how I would cope. I know it sounds silly but I have been to a few clairvoyants in my time and they have all predicted 5 children, girl, boy, girl, twins boy and girl. When I had my third two years ago I was hoping that I was a boy but she wasnt! Im probaly reading to much in to it, but this pregnacy is definately different in that I feel really sick and if I could I would sleep 24hrs a day.

My mum said her symptons weren't that different when she was carrying me from when she was carrying my twin brothers, in fact she didn't realise she was having twins until she was 8 months! Didn't have scans in those days...

I have twins and am due another baby this week. I have to say that I felt actually less sick when I was pregnant with the twins than I have this time! I had a scan at 9 weeks and had not suspected at all that there were two. Hope you get some confirmation one way or the other soon,

and for what it's worth research has shown that morning sickness often gets worse the more children you've had, so you might just be feeling sicker because it's your fourth pg.

Littledetails - similar thoughts are running round my head too. Although I don't actually know if I am pg with no3 - just feel hideously sick and knackered.

But a very good and trustworthy Christian friend prophesied that I would have 5 kids!

So either I am pg with 1 and 2 more to come later.
