Stringy spotting at 4, 8, and 12 weeks?

Hey all!

I'm not sure where to start other than to list everything happening and see if anyone else has any advice.

First of all, I know this is going to sound crazy, but I am not even sure that I'm pregnant yet. I am currently going through a divorce. I left my husband in December due to domestic abuse. January 4 I had what I thought was a period. Then again on January 28. Both were very light not even filling a pad hardly in the hour. So I'm thinking that I'm in the clear no pregnancy.

Three weeks ago I started showing all the signs of pregnancy almost exactly in the same way and order as my guest pregnant six years ago. Hormonal headaches, hormonal rash on my chin, heavy breasts, aversion to smell/tastes, metallic taste constantly, and feeling extremely bloated, and extreme fatigue. I have not had sex since before Christmas.

HPT negative, and blood test negative at the insta care(qualitative if that matters.) The nurse called with the blood results and told me that if I didn't start my period to go back in for another test because she was skeptical of the results.

I started spotting yesterday with dark red/brown stringy clots. I thought this might be a period but it is still extremely light. And I am (except since January) a 28 day cycler. Spotting yesterday would put me at 37/38 days since last bleed.

I have an appointment today but was just wondering if anyone has had anything similar with spotting it maybe with multiples or they weren't actually pregnant? I just feel pregnant and I'm nervous for the appointment. Thanks for any replies!

Also I don't think it is a MC of I am pregnant.... There are no pains it cramping. Just really weird stringy stuff.

It could be stress affecting your periods. My period would either come late or not at all if I was very stressed out.

I'm sure that you have been through a very stressful time leaving your husband. Stress can totally screw up your cycles so hopefully it is just that.

Presumably they will do more bloods when you go back and you should get a definitive answer. Hope it is the answer that you want.
