Hi guys

Ok, second pregnancy and now 17+1 So it's going quick and hopefully well so far but Jesus- Fanny daggers hurt.

With my first I don't think I got any but I was 50kg heavier then in 2014 and this time round I'm getting every symptom known to womankind and today I started the above.

Once it strikes it's away but ouch!!!

Any good tips for easing them off?

No tips but I'm dreading the fanny daggers this time!! 😭
Then again, I'm 30 weeks and nothing so far so here's hoping! Haha

I'm 32+4 with my first and seem to have escaped the fanny daggers so far!
Does it tend to happen earlier on or can they strike at any time? Grin

I'm on my 3rd pregnancy...I don't think I've ever had them... So may be a silly question... Is internal or more of a pubic bone pain?

BertieBotts · 05/03/2018 22:26

It's called pelvic floor pain, I think pelvic floor exercises can help you get them less.

It's just a sudden sharp jolt into the pelvic area (where baby comes out - that boney bit) and then it's away again.

More like an electric shock.

I do PFE already as that sucked in 1st pregnancy but I am sore in that area at night almost like a deep ache.

Probably connected so fun and games.
