Hi everyone.

I'm almost seven weeks pregnant with my first child, and when I went to the loo just now I noticed some brown spotting! There was a tiny bit when I wiped but not a lot at all.

I'm not in any pain which I suppose is a good thing, but I'm terrified something is going wrong! I'm currently at uni so not a lot I can do at the moment except hope I'm not having a miscarriage Sad

I had brown, then pink, then a red bleed between 9-14 weeks. Baby was absolutely fine! If you are worried, please call your epu.

I had spotting around 8 weeks, same as you. Had a scan and all was well. Now 25weeks with my little girl kicking me as I type this! It's most probably implantation bleeding, but get it checked out if you are worried.

Constipation and sex can cause brown discharge and even some cramps with light pink bleeding. Mostly due to irritation and straining. Phone up your EPU if worried and they can do checks

Any bleeding or spotting needs checking,it's not normal in pregnancy as some might tell you,my friend is a good example of this. It might be nothing but always go to epau to be checked xx

I had some brown spotting during week 5 and early week 6. Its stopped now but I did call my EPU who told me it was just implantation bleeding. I definitely had implantation bleeding at week 3/4 as i thought it was my period so I asked if it was normal to get it "again" a week and a half later. She said it was totally normal and not to worry, just call back if it turned red and heavy. Just calling them gave me a peace of mind, it's better to just pick up the phone than whittle for hours on end reading conflicting things on the net xx
