Water like, milky discharge gushes

I'm due my period any day, the last 1-2 weeks Iv been getting random gushes of a white/milky discharge. It's a big gush to the point it can run down my legs. Sometimes it won't happen for a few days then sometimes it happens a few times a day.

Anyone ever experienced this?

Ttc but do have fertility issues.

I don't know what to tell you other than that I've been experiencing exactly what you describe for the majority of my pregnancy. Never experienced it prior to pregnancy.

Dan17 · 05/03/2018 21:52

Aw really, how early in your pregnancy did it start hun x

I had this all throughout my pregnancy. Not enjoyable but panty liners were bought and well used haha x

Has this all the way through too. I think its thrush/ vagina PH related. Basically my vagina does not like pregnancy.

sunandfire · 05/03/2018 23:26

Same as @Loosemoose28 I've had this along with ongoing thrush/pH imbalance pretty much my whole pregnancy. Had to go back to wearing pads (I was a menstrual cup wearer).

How strange! Mother Nature hasn't shown her ugly face just yet so I'm keeping everything crossed. Did youse all experience it really early on? Iv been ttc over 5yr now and have pcos so possibly clutching at straws but it's just really unusual. Iv had BV a few times in the past I'm prone to that but Iv not experienced this before x

I have been swabbed for BV. Only results were thrush mild-mod.

I havw become allergic to always so spending a small fortune on organic cotton pads/ panty liners.

Loosemoose28 · 06/03/2018 00:24

In my first few weeks I kept feeling like I peed, but it was discharge so strange.

Finger crossed OP for that beautiful BFP. X

Dan17 · 06/03/2018 00:32

I haven't been swabbed recently but Iv had no BV symptoms. I get it pretty frequently it can be really frustrating. I'm the same as you I can't use the normal branded sanitary pads, I get a terrible like nappy rash and they give me thrush. So glamorous being a female isn't it?
Probably should have added that the last fortnight or so my appetite has completely vanished, I love my food and I'm the biggest chocoholic but recently Iv barely touched any chocolate and I'm rarely hungry I'm eating because I know I have to x

I actually didn't experience it until a few months in (about 2). I've never had this unusual discharge tested thoroughly enough to be given an actual diagnosis (only visual observations - no actual swabs). The one swab that was taken apparently "wasn't received by the lab" (huff) so I'll have to do it again. Started of as just thin, milky, watery discharge that constantly leaks/gushes out (what you describe) to now this yeasty-looking, thick, yellow in colour discharge that seems to be operating in addition to the watery discharge described above. It's the latter discharge that I'm trying to have investigated, as I think it may point to thrush/a bacterial infection (sorry, I know I've gone off on a tangent and provided TMI).

@Loosemoose28 a lot of women report feeling as though they were peeing but to me it always felt different (when it gushes out) to peeing - it felt like it was coming from the vagina, rather than the urethra.

sunandfire · 06/03/2018 00:44

But back to your actual question/query, if you're wondering if it's a pregnancy symptom I'd certainly say it is (the thin, milky, watery discharge), unless it's something you've experienced before (I'd never experienced symptoms of BV before pregnancy, so didn't attribute it to that). Perhaps some women experience it earlier in pregnancy than others do. Let's hope for the best fingers crossed!!! Xxx

Dan17 · 06/03/2018 21:51

Thanks @sunandfire I'm really hoping it is. I'm so scared to test though, obviously after 5yr of trying my body likes 2 mess with me and give me false hope now and then. I'm gunna give it another few days if I can resist x
