I have done 4 tests since Friday, all positive with positive line getting darker with each test strip. I miscarried last year and I'm worried the same may happen again. I've worked out I'm just 3wks pregnant. My question is how correct the tests are as I know they say to wait until your first missed period. We really want this little one

Congratulations! Flowers

How close to your period are you? If the results are positive, then you are pregnant. Some pregnancies show up earlier than others on tests.

If you've done 4 tests in 3 days and they've all been positive then I'd say you're definitely pregnant.

I'm sorry to hear you've suffered a loss before but you're not going to help your anxiety if you keep testing like this. You need to step away from the tests for your own sanity.

Congratulations.

Hi. I should be due next weekend. When reading online it says home tests don't usually show until at least 3wks. You wouldn't think I already had 3 children but with my boys it was discovered after a missed period and my daughter I didn't find out until 20wks. This is all a little new to me in finding out early, when I found out early last year I had my period a few days later and I'm worried the same will happen again. I know worrying isn't going to help but obviously it is on my mind x

I totally agree and Indo suffer with anxiety and until I get to see the doc tomorrow hopefully I have taken myself off my medication as the leaflet inside the tablet box says to discuss with doc if pregnant so want to find out what is for the best tomorrow and also to get the folic acid and pregnicare meds. I will do my best to stay away from the tests for a few days x

Good luck at the doctors - they will be able to advise you on what to do about your medication.

You are definitely pregnant. I had a positive at three weeks with my second, so it's not unheard of.

Thankyou, I have an appointment for 3.10pm this afternoon. Feeling very bloated, tired and have a banging headache this morning. Going to chat to doc about my anxiety of the same occurring like last year. I know people say try and stay calm but I've already suffered 2 miscarriages and I would hate for it to happen again xx
