Best crib/bassinet for newborn?

Looking for a reasonably priced crib for when baby is sleeping in our room. But one that can also be easily moved downstairs and used during the day. Any recommendations?

Chico next to me 100%... but not easily portable. Maybe pram or Moses downstairs?

PinkRazor · 04/03/2018 19:33

Get the Chicco Next2Me. Don't waste time with a cheaper version because you'll end up shelling out for the real deal anyways. It's not portable but you can just use a bouncer or a Moses basket downstairs. My DS hated the Moses basket and never once settled in it. I used a bouncer downstairs and the Next2Me upstairs. Best money we spent!

Agree with the other posters
Next to me crib for upstairs
And get a cheap Moses basket for downstairs!
Job done

Or just let the baby sleep on you and watch loads of tv 😍

Even cheaper to rent a Bednest as bedside crib and then have a Moses basket downstairs.

Chicco next to me is amazing. I don't move it from the bedroom tho, I just have one of those baby bean bags for the living room or the baby swing :)

Thanks everyone! Will check out the chicco next to me 😊

I just bought the bought the Tutti Bambino Cozee, check that out too.

Also, Chicco is more expensive than a lot- I bought mine second hand and then just a new mattress to go in. Worked out more affordable :)

Loved our Tutti Bambini Cozzee too (stupid name though!). It is a brilliant little travel cot too that folds down to nothing. Wouldn't have been without it.

I've gotten the Chicago Next2Me bedside crib. I've also gotten a Sleepyhead, which can be moved around very easily!
