Im just a bit worried that Ive spent the last 11 weeks being very nauseous and smells have affected me badly. My tummy has also felt quite big but the last few days I dont feel pregnant anymore my symptoms have pretty much gone and my stomach doesnt feel as big or uncomfortable... is this normal or should I be worried?

It's normal. Morning sickness often disappears at 11 weeks and you've just lost a bit of bloating.

I was very bloated till about week 12, then it deflated. Only started to get a bump later.

If you've felt like this for 11 weeks, you're about 15 weeks gone? Was the 12 week dating scan ok? If that was clear the odds are very good.

Symptoms can come and go so that's normal. Also any stomach growth in the first 4 months or so tends to be bloating rather than baby which is always worst in the first trimester and then eases off.

Echoing past posters. Symptoms tends to go away at this time and any tummy bump was bloating not the baby and that also eases off.

My 12 week scan is end of next week @zaalitje sorry I just meant the whole time Ive been pregnant Ive felt like that, Ive known since I was 2/3 weeks pregnant. I did have an early viability scan at 9 weeks and that all looked good, It's just the sudden disappearance of the symtoms and the smaller tummy that worried me, wish we had a little scanner of our own and we could just check in whenever we wanted!

I stopped feeling sick at about the same time and worried but everything was fine. I was very lucky with nausea only which went very quickly.

Baby2018 · 04/03/2018 14:38

Thanks @BalloonDinosaur this is my first pregnancy so I feel like Im asking things all the time! It just seemed really strange to change over night like that but glad everything was fine for you so hopefully it will be for me

Baby is nowhere near big enough to give you a bump at the moment. Any change to your tum will be bloating. If all was well at 9 weeks then there’s a very good chance that all is still well.

Baby2018 · 04/03/2018 16:14

Thanks everyone I guess I was way more bloated than I realised!
