We had a miscarriage last summer and since have been casually being TTC. I took a test on Friday, another 2 Saturday and another one not long ago. All look positive to me although positive line is quite light, little darker today. I'm not 100% the first day of my last period but it was either the 10th Feb or 17th Feb making me 2-3wks preg. I feel small unpainful cramps/flutters in my stomach, and suffered sickness Friday morning which was my reasoning for taking an early test. Reading up on the internet I'm experiencing symptoms which pin point me to being more 3wks than 2wks plus internet also says home tests can pick up hCG from 3wks rather than 2. I'm getting myself a little worked up and worrying that I will miscarry again. I'm trying my best not to stress as I know this won't help but it is difficult. I have 3 children age 6,4 and 2 and a very supportive partner. What's the best things Incan do to keep calm and get through the next couple of weeks? Xx

Hey there!
So sorry to hear about your miscarriage 😢
I haven't been in your shoes, however it did take us a long time to conceive our daughter, and in the first few weeks I had what you were describing, even some light bleeding and one night the most intense cramps that I remember sitting on the floor crying assuming the worst! However everything was fine and I had sleepless nights for no reason!
I suggest buying a digital word answer one in a couple of days or buying two and taking one in the morning then another in a couple of days.
Just try and get on with day to day despite feeling nervous and wanting to know! I'm sure after having your other babies you know how fast this wonderful experience goes. Try to enjoy xxx

Awe thank you, such lovely words. Yes it sure does fly by quickly. I'm doing everything I can now. No drinking and no smoking, wasn't a heavy smoker anyway or drinker, just social, and eating all the right foods. Will be getting folic acid off the docs tomorrow and also be purchasing some pregnicare too. X

Morning ILoveMyFrenchie. Feeling a little less anxious today, was awful yesterday especially in the evening. I became extremely bloated and even opened my bowels 4 times through the day. Lots of pressure making me feel I needed to poop, sorry for TMI. I've put it down to trapped wind. Tested again first thing and positive line is stronger on each test. Trying not to test as much but it is difficult. Doc has reduced my meds and I will be off them completely in 10days max which I am more than happy about. Still have that pressure feeling this morning but trying to remain positive. It definitely isn't cramps, I know what they feel like and it isn't in my abdomen it's more pressure making my body feel it needs the loo. Thanks for your concerns, hope all well with you xx
