I'm being induced tomorrow and I'm losing my mind 😬 Any positive induction stories?

Yup.

Was induced in 2014 and loved it.

Had 3x reduced movements so after a check on Wednesday night I had another consultant appointment on Thursday and was admitted Friday and had first pessary around 3pm.

Got monitored for a couple of hours then had dinner and wander round place and started getting back ache but painkillers took care if that and I slept well over the night.
Next morning I had a sweep and another pessary and was taken to delivery room after 5pm and waters broken. Bounced around like crazy and I knew she was getting stuck so I asked for help and got an episiotimy and forceps help and she was born on Sunday at 7.50am perfectly healthy.

Would have gone into labour naturally but 3x reduced movements is instant consultant led care which I was anyway so didn't mind st all.

Good luck mama.

Yes, my induction was fine. Lots of waiting round bored for 4 days. I had 2 pessaries, waters broken and drip went up, a few hours later baby was born. The actual labour was about 30 minutes, no pain relief needed and a 2nd degree tear which was easily sorted.

I wound myself up so much after reading others stories but my experience was very good. I'm looking to my next in 16 weeks
