Scan @ 5w6d no yolk sac no fetal pole

Hi!
I'm currently 6w 1d pregnant after trying for 9 months.
I may be overreacting because of a previous miscarriage and I should just forget about it until my next scan (in 4 days!) but I can't stop googling. Which isn't helping. So I thought I'd post here.
I was taken to hospital with suspected ectopic pregnancy at 5weeks 5 days. I was kept in over night and blood levels taken. HCG levels at 11,000. Internal scan showed Gestation Sac but nothing else in uterus.
No yolk sac or fetal pole seen. I've read that you can sometimes see the heartbeat at 5 and a half weeks! So now I can't help that think it's just going to be a repeat of last time and I'll miscarry.
I'm not having any symptoms except tender/sore/BIG boobs! Which is making me more nervous.
Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hi OP. I had a scan at 5+ weeks and had a sac and yolk but no fetal pole. A week later and there was a healthy fetal pole, and I know have the wee one kicking me as a type! Try not to worry - it's still so early to tell. They are dealing in mm at this stage.

I had the same OP. He was 8 last week.

I hope everything's ok and you see a lovely HB on the next scan.

I’ve found that no matter how certain I am of my dates that early scans (and also the dating scan) have always been out by a few days and that can be a huge difference in terms of what you can and can’t see.

Thank you for replying! I should have said the sonographer said the GS was measuring at 5 weeks 6 days

I had an empty sac at 6 weeks 4 days I went back on Tuesday ( two weeks later ) and saw a lil pea with the heartbeat flickering away at 8 weeks 1 day, it'll just be too early. Congratulations on your pregnancy xx

Just a quick update: I went in for a scan this morning and we saw everything where it should be! I'm measuring 5w2d and we saw a heart beat! X
