Trying to conceive

Hi I'm new to Mumsnet and wanted some advice. My partner and I are really keen to start trying again for a baby, however I'm due to go on a girly holiday in 5 weeks time. My question is would I be silly to start trying now or should I wait till I return from my holiday?? Thank you :)

Well it depends where the girly holiday falls in your cycle. Also whether your holiday will be ruined if you just can't drink.

Also just to let you know that there is a conception forum on mumsnet.
