Very random question but...
I went to the doctor yesterday and they took a urin sample for a uti test - would they also test for pregnancy or would the doctor have told me if so?

No they won't test for that. Even if you ask for it, Drs will encourage you to buy your own test . They certainly don't check for it routinely .
