My symptoms come and go I'm not sure if I should be blessed really. My boobs don't hurt as much, I don't feel sick, tiredness comes and goes, cramps are gone I don't know what to think I had a scan last week and saw the heart beat and tiny baby but I was wondering if anyone else has had this? I'm eating a lot of unhealthy stuff probably not helping

Same here! Apparently it can be due to hormone surges - surge, feel rubbish, get used to it, feel ok, repeat. My symptoms are all over the place - morning sickness, sore boobs, exhausted, headaches and some days I feel fine. Try not to worry too much OP (and hopefully feel thankful you don’t feel horrendous like some of the poor posters on here with HG etc. Smile)

Same here too. Was starting to worry as I have almost no symptoms and had all the pregnancy symptoms in the first weeks. But had the scan today, everything is fine. I don’t even feel pregnant anymore, just get tired easier but that could be due to having constant colds and chest infection.

Really hoping it's natural @AnnaLuna @BridgeFarmKefir already had a miscarriage in Dec

The only symptom I had in first trimester was slightly sore boobs for half a day. That was it. I even had a couple of small bleeds. My daughter is nearly two now. Had an utterly shit third trimester though!

Well after a couple of days my boobs were slightly sore, they now have gone away again all I get is just cramps like period pains. Apparently that's normal just hoping all is ok I have my first midwife appointment next Friday which would be around the same time I had a miscarriage Im going to ask for a scan to check everything do you think they'll accept and do that??

If you had your first scan, does that mean you’re 12 weeks now? Things should be easing off around that time, so try not to worry. I felt crap until around 14-15 weeks, and then it was all gone. I’m almost full term now ;-) I had cramps in my lower belly for the first half of pregnancy, I would say, and that’s apparently your uterus stretching and adjusting, so normal too. If you’re not bleeding, try not to worry. See what the midwife says about an extra scan, but I would think she could try and pick up the heartbeat with that little device they’re usin for monitoring?

Markygirl1995 · 02/03/2018 08:09

Oh no that scan was a dating scan and worked I'm not 7.5 weeks pregnant I didn't have a monthly since my miscarriage this pregnancy. I'm not sure if the heart monitor would work on me this early but I did see the heart beat 2 weeks ago

@markygirl1995 I would say seeing a heartbeat is very encouraging and a good sign. It’s a great shame NHS doesn’t offer an early scan, as they do in other countries. Apparently once heartbeat is established, the chances of miscarriage drop significantly. It’s just on the NHS you only get the 12 week dating scan usually, probably to save money. In Poland (I’m Polish) you get a scan around 8 weeks to check for heartbeat, and then another one at 12 - dating/genetic screening one. So try and not worry, your symptoms will probably keep coming and going. Have a chat with your midwife, hopefully she will be able to reassure you once she knows your history. I know it’s very unnerving when our bodies don’t just follow one pattern, it would have been far more reassuring!

With my first, I would often think how I never felt pregnant. Some days in the third trimester would just be awful, but most of the time... I was fine! I think that every pregnancy for every person is different and maybe you're just being lucky, at this stage.
Good luck!
