Infection screening

If they’d found anything on my booking bloods during the infection screen - HIV, hep b, syphilis - how quickly would they get in touch?

I had my booking in at 12 weeks and am seeing my midwife for my 16 week appointment tomorrow, and I’m suddenly getting terrible anxiety that she’s going to tell me tomorrow I have one of those infections! I’ve suffered with OCD intrusive thoughts throughout pregnancy so far but this is a new one Hmm

It’s been 4 weeks almost. If they’d found something, they’d have told me before now surely?

Normally if you don’t hear anything then all is fine. If there’s an issue they will contact you within a few days.

Thank you chien that’s reassuring!

I was told the same- if any problems they'll contact you quickly. No news is good news.

Good Smile

No idea why I’ve chosen to start worrying about this now!

Thank you all. I know logically that makes sense.
