Anyone had any messed up pregnancy dreams?

Earlier on in pregnancy I couldn’t stop dreaming about sex related stuff. Now it’s mostly about saving the world, apocalypse type scenarios. Tbh lucid dreams are one of my favourite part of being pregnant.

On the night before I went into Labour I dreamed I was squeezing through really narrow carpeted corridors. It's a bit obvious what it symbolised but I remember it 23 years on-as if it were yesterday.

I have really realistic ones where you wake up and think it actually happened - they're all about completely mundane stuff though. DH said i'm a really boring dreamer Blush

Alexandra87 · 25/02/2018 20:14

Yeh I have really vivid dreams when I'm pregnant. A lot of sex dreams as well.

Spam88 · 25/02/2018 20:21

Constant sex dreams. I was exhausted!

Ive had a couple this week!! I had a dream after my gender/sex scan (couldnt see what baby was) that the midwife scanned me and baby was laying with his legs wide open and was holding 2 blue balloons!! 😂

I had several dreams/nightmares when pregnant with DC1 - all along the same lines that I was out doing something normal and then suddenly remembered that I had a baby and I'd left it somewhere and forgotten it! I would wake in a real panic.

(I never did actually leave DS anywhere and forget him in the end though Grin)

So many nightmares.

Toddlernighthell · 25/02/2018 20:48

LMX0 · 25/02/2018 21:21

Markygirl1995 · 26/02/2018 06:43

Maybe it's just me this weekend I've had dreams of miscarrying sitting down on a bucket and on the floor on my own so weird but waking up straight after so terrifying

You're not a lone. I've had miscarriage nightmares. Just awful. Especially as I was going through first trimester bleeding at the time so wasn't unrealistic.

I also have nightmares about doing something that causes the babies to go to hospital eg leaving them unattended.

I just wake up in tears. But my DH is very good at snapping awake and cuddling me.

ForeverHopeful21 · 26/02/2018 08:41

I have a lot of baby related dreams, and although they are generally quite happy they always seem to end with me forgetting my baby, leaving her somewhere, not knowing who she's with etc etc.

I told my MIL about it and she said its probably because I'm worried about something going wrong in real life. I previously had a miscarriage so this would make sense.

FairfaxAikman · 26/02/2018 08:51

I've had some batshit ones.

I work in the court system sometimes. I had one where my car wheels were being "balanced" by my car being placed on one end of a seesaw (yes, I do know it's now done like that Grin) and on the other end was the scariest/stuffiest Judge from our local court - complete with wig and gown flying!
