This may sound stupid, but I must have slept funny and woke up with really stiff neck and shoulder pain.

DP gave me quite a firm, deep rub all over my back, neck, shoulder blades with some bio oil (avoiding anything else!) for anoint 10mins now I’m reading there are pressure points that stimulate the uterus and cause early labour and some other horrible effects ?

Is this right that a hard shoulder rub could actually harm the baby? I know it’s probably talking about professional massage, but I’m worried because he really got stuck in there!

It's fine.

I’m a beauty therapist. A massage really is fine. Tummy should not be massaged and aromatherapy oils should be avoided.

It's absolutely fine
