Sorry if this is TMI but I have a few days until I can discuss this with my MW and I’m starting to get really down and worried.
I’m 28 weeks and for the past week I’m getting diarrhea every morning without fail. I get really intense cramps and then I have to go to the toilet and it’s diarrhea every time. Once I’ve been I feel completely fine and it doesn’t come back until the next morning. I’m not doing anything I haven’t been doing and I haven’t changed my diet. Really getting down about it and worried it’ll affect baby. Obviously I will speak to my MW on Wednesday but just wanted to see whether anyone else has suffered with this at this stage of pregnancy?

Hiya and yeah I have and do.

Mostly it's down to hormones - doesn't sound like a bug or virus it it's only happening in morning and that's it. Any other symptoms?

I've got it this time for the last week and once a day it's just really loose then I'm totally fine.

The joys of pregnancy.

As for hurting baby, very much doubt it as long as your feeling movements regular to you it will be ok

Oh me too me too! Its horrible isn't it! One day last weekend I almost fainted on the toilet, the cramping was so horrible. I've been a bit better this week though so maybe it's a short-term thing. I'm only.8 and a half weeks though! Pregnancy is such a magical time isnt it... 😞

Ugh same. Just under 28 weeks. Happened last time too at random times... it’s better than constipation imo! I also get that though, so there’s no real winning here

Also when you have gas and diarrhoea in pregnancy it hurts WAY MORE than when you’re not pregnant. That’s why so many women will go in with pains during pregnancy and it turns out to be gas... when it feels so incredibly painful

I am only 22 weeks but have this too, everything I read suggests I should be suffering with constipation but it's the complete opposite for me!

Oh thanks so much everyone, I don’t feel as alone now! I don’t have any other symptoms just the cramps and diarrhea. Hoping it will clear up on its own soon!
