Hello, I've done a clear blue pregnancy test in the evening at like 8pm. I am just wondering if anyone else has done one at this time and it's been correct? Mine said 1-2weeks but I am not too sure if that is because I have done it in the evening? Can anyone let me know if they have done one of these? Thanks xxxxflowers

The levels in your wee are usually weaker in the evening, so I would say that a positive in the evening is a definite positive! Go ahead and get some other tests though and test in your first wee to be certain :) x

I did one in the evening and one in the morning and the readings were
Both the same

Swishswish95 · 24/02/2018 22:28

@lozbeth so were the readings right ?
I'm trying to pick between two dates that I had sex on , 21st of jan or feb 6th what do you think xxx

We picked the date we had sex on and then the reading said 2-3 weeks pregnant went doctors and booked midwife so there pretty good but the clear blue if it says one thing it means something else in weeks according to leaflet

lozbeth · 24/02/2018 22:32

First antenatal is at mar 8 so I find out if I'm right then I guess or have to wait til 12 week

lozbeth · 24/02/2018 22:33

Right jus googled if it says ur 1-2 weeks that means your 3-4 weeks pregnant according to clear blue

lozbeth · 24/02/2018 22:34

@Swishswish95 so I'd go 21st jan

Swishswish95 · 24/02/2018 22:43

@Swishswish95 no problems and congratulations c

Dates are taken from the date of the first day of your last period. Nothing to do with conception dates. If clear blie says 1 - 2 weeks, you'd be considered 4 weeks pregnant because of the date of the period (2weeks before you ovulated).

When was the date of your last period, Swish? That's all you need to know.

Swishswish95 · 25/02/2018 08:51

@Pittcuecothecookbook this is the confusing thing... I had sex 21st jan I came on on the 23rd.. I also had sex on the 6th of feb xxx

AutumnalTed · 25/02/2018 09:16

Date of conception was Feb 6th then, and 4 weeks pregnant as your last period was the 23rd

Swishswish95 · 25/02/2018 09:25

@AutumnalTed is that being 2-3 weeks ? Xxx

lozbeth · 25/02/2018 16:55

@Swishswish95 get that midwife appointment booked 🙂 glad you sorted it now

AutumnalTed · 25/02/2018 17:13

19 days since you conceived, so 2-3 weeks on clear blue but 4 weeks from your last mentrual period which is where midwives will count it from.

Pittcuecothecookbook · 25/02/2018 17:29

If you had sex and then came your period, it wont be that date you conceived. Basic biology x
