This is a little embarrassing, me and my DP just got intimate (no penetration) but I 'O'ed. An hour or so later I wiped myself after a wee and there was a smudge of red blood mixed in with CM. I'm frightened now.

Your vagina is very sensitive at the moment so as long as it stops within a couple of hours and isn't bright red (and lots) then all is ok.

Anything from orgasm, constipation straining and sex will irritate the area and cause spotting - cramps will be normal too.

It gets easier after 12 weeks for some people, I'm 15 weeks and still get brown spotting (old blood) a day or so later.

Any major bleeding that's bright red, not in discharge and follows by clots and cramps then get seen.

Enjoy the sex.

Ps - welcome to leaving dignity at the door in pregnancy.

@gryffen Thanks, it was red but there wasn't much of it and it was followed by some pink spotting and now nothing.

I think this is pretty common x

Yup sounds like just usual irritation of the area and it stops really quickly- don't panic in a day or so if you get some brown discharge - it's just old blood and nothing to worry about

I remember freaking out well and truly the first time and then I realised why- for this pregnancy I found that when the Morning sickness kicked in and constipation started I got it as well.

Rest up, relax and enjoy the coital glow 😘😄

Thanks, I haven't had any bleeding since, just creamy/EWCM type discharge again.
