Does anyone know if Yoga has is ok in the first trimester? I am 4 weeks and feel like my back is really tight and need a good stretch out!

If you've been doing it before pregnancy then yes, not a great idea to take it up for first time if not. You should tell your teacher though and some won't let you participate until 12-14wks. Fine to stretch yourself at home if not. Beyond 16 weeks no lying on your back, bridging or inversions (head stands or anything where hips above head). Pregnancy yoga classes are great too. Congratulations!

Thanks @Smellyjo I have done a few classes on and off but not routinely. Might give it a miss then for a few more weeks and get some more advise at my antenatal appointment in April.
Thank you Smile
