Hi ladies,

I'm 6+7 going by LMP (last menstrual period) but I think I'm a bit earlier than that in reality.

Have had some very light pink staining/spotting today and had the same on Tuesday. Does this sound like anything to be concerned about?
I've had on/off period type cramps too since last Thursday. I had my bfp on the Sunday before last.

@Brownbear84 even just light pink spotting? I just feel a bit silly as it was such a small amount.

@Brownbear84 I've never spoken to them before, don't you have to be referred through your GP?

I can't offer practical advice. But I had some spotting at approx 6 weeks and DD is now fast asleep in her cot. So it's not definitely anything bad

BexleyRae · 23/02/2018 11:06

Sorry, not always anything bad

SpongeCake23 · 23/02/2018 11:09

@BexleyRae Thanks, it's gone away now.

Don't worry I had this with my second child, often because the villi of the forming placenta start invading the uterus wall so it's normal. I understand your worry as I've had lots of miscarriages too which again can be bleeding but with mine often it was Loss if symptoms too - just ring EPAU and they can help talk to you or hopefully bring you in for a reassurance scan

CrabbyPatty · 23/02/2018 11:24

Hi don't feel silly. I had a little bit of brown this morning and last night. I nearly just went to work, but had a little thought to just ring the GP, she referred me straight to EPAU, got an appointment at 4.15. I think its better to get checked for your reassurance especially with the weekend coming.

Newnaime · 23/02/2018 11:32

You don't have to be referred to the epu, Just ring. I had bleeding with both pregnancies and both were fine but get it checked if that makes you feel better

SpongeCake23 · 23/02/2018 11:37

I've just rang my GP and spoke to her, she said she's not overly concerned as it was only very light spotting and only when I wiped. She said to call back if it gets heavier or red and accompanied by bad cramping.

She said it could be hormones or implantation (a bit late I thought) or possibly just the cervix being irritated.

@flumpybear I've never had a miscarriage, this is my first pregnancy.
I still have sore boobs and nipples, feeling a bit sick on and off too...but I have no idea what's normal.
