First trimester cramps

7 1/2 weeks and for the last 3-4 days been experiencing some cramps low down like mild to moderate period pain - more discomfort than pain. They come and go but are more there than not there. No blood.

Trying to stay away from the scary place that is google. Is anyone else experiencing this? Was meant to be going for an early scan tomorrow for reassurance (after MC last Autumn) but its just been moved to Tuesday.

It's your uterus stretching for more room so your bubba can grow lovely, nothing to worry about too much. If it does get unbearable then call the midwife xx

I had terrible cramps at that stage. It was so scary. But it’s totally normal and I gave birth to a perfect baby 8 months later. I’m sure you will too! Good luck OP
