I'm hoping to go into labour more naturally this time round because last time I was induced and went from nothing to baby in 3.5 hours, it felt very fast and very intense! Ended up having a 3rd degree tear and haemorrhage and needing surgery so I'm really scared of this happening again.
I live about 45mins/an hour away from the hospital so I'm worried my labour will be even quicker and I'll barely make it, especially with having another dc and waiting for relatives to come round to look after her when I go.
If you've had both did you find going into labour naturally slower and less painful? I know that sounds silly but I'm wondering if a natural start to labour has more gaps between contractions or is it equally as intense?
I just want to try and mentally prepare myself as much as possible this time! Thanks
