8.5 weeks and have been feeling sick. All of a sudden today got pains on right hand side ( like ovulation pain ). Has anyone else had same pain?
Hard not to worry.🙁

Sounds like ligaments stretching so perfectly normal to get twinges at this stage but if you're worried do speak to your midwife they really won't mind.

That's a normal time for sickness to kick in, the placenta forms around 9 weeks if I remember correctly and that changes hormone levels. My sickness always started around 7-8 weeks and worsened by 10 weeks.
Pains either side are also normal in my experience, all 3 pregnancies especially early on I got them, with my third especially they were stabbing sort of pains early on more so on my left side
I would try not to worry, I did every time but everything was fine. Obviously if it gets severe it's worth getting checked, and maybe ring your midwife tomorrow just as reassurance, but without bleeding etc pains are fairly common from my experience and what I researched at the time.

Thank you. Feel like it’s easier a bit this morning. I had a very early miscarriage in October and think i get scared incase it happens again. Will call the midwife today. Can’t wait for scan so hopefully can put my mind at rest. Thank you. Xxx
