Hello, I am trying to decide with whom to go as Mark Johnson is already booked for my due month. Does anyone recommend one of these over the others? I am quite sensitive so need someone who takes her/his time, explains things without making me feel silly, but of course, is fab under pressure.

Mina Savvidou
Roshni Patel
Charlotte Deans
Vasso Terzidou

And would consider a male OB if recommended above the women consultants
Guy Thorpe Beeston
Nick Wales

I have heard great things about Gubby Ayida and Keith Duncan but they sound more to the point.

I’m booked in with an ob for Kensington Wing. I chose the ob based on reputation and booked very early (at around 5 weeks pregnant). I know I’m in safe hands, but this particular person has zero charisma (and barely talks!!). It’s ok as it isn’t my first baby, I don’t want to go to lots of appointments (just the bare minimum needed) and I’m having an ELCS, so it will be a straightforward operation, rather than more involved natural labour (when I think you would definitely need better chemistry with the ob!).

I’m lucky that there’s a fabulous community midwife (NHS) who I also see and she is more chatty and caring.

Good luck OP!

Has anyone had any experience with Dr Roshni Patel or Dr Mina Savvidou at the Kensington Wing please?
