Pregnant but not showing on tests- has this happened to anyone?

I've been on the pill for over 10 years and always had my period on time, never more than a day late.
Last month I missed a few pills due to moving house and generally being really busy but I wasn't worried as we plan to start trying for a DC around Autumn time and so if I was pregnant I would be pleased and there would be no question whether to keep it, it just wouldn't be the perfect time (but is there ever?!).

A few days before my period was due I had some very light pink blood after I wiped (TMI) I googled what it was and found it was implantation bleeding. This was my first indication that I might be pregnant. My period was due last Wednesday, and Wednesday came and gone and no sign. I took a test and it came back negative. I continued to expect my period and still nothing, I have taken a further 3 tests and all are coming back negative. I'm now due to start taking my pill again and I'm not sure if I should if there is a chance I might be pregnant. I have some lower back pain and I have felt some twinges but no other pregnancy symptoms.
Last night I woke up and violently vomited up my dinner and my stomach has felt fragile all day but that isn't how I would imagine morning sickness would be. Basically I'm scared. I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone had been pregnant but it hadn't shown up on tests?

Mine came up with a very faint positive I would suggest testing in the morning!! Or clear blue digital very easy and simple. All the best

My tests were neg till about 6 weeks pg. Even then they were faint. My 3 DC are definitely real tho Smile

Hope you get the outcome you want

I’ve always had very strong HPTs.

A friend got to five months before she confirmed her pregnancy because she never got a positive HPT and her GP insisted she was being hysterical by asking if she could be pregnant. At 25 weeks she finally got him to do a blood test. One very contrite GP called her later that day ... :)

It’s impossible to say - illness and all sorts can muck up your cycle. It’s impossible to say if any blood was implantation or not. Do a HPT again. Go to GP for a blood test if it will put your mind at rest.

I would say it's unlikely OP (lots of anecdotes but you're more likely to show a positive on a test) but definitely ask for a blood test.

I didn't test positive until 19/20dpo. So possible, a blood test should tell you.

Let us know, fingers crossed
