Pink spotting

I just went to wipe after a wee and there was light pink spotting on the tissue. I have been experiencing AF type cramps on and off for a few days now. Going by my LMP I'm 6 weeks and a few days, but I think it's less in reality.

If youre that early. Its best call the MW straight away and get it checked out. Anything before 12 weeks is always a worrying stage. So best double check with someone who knows what theyre talking about and perhaps get the baby checked through the EPU :)

@MommaVixen I don't even have a midwife yet! Haven't managed to sort an appointment so early on, so at a bit of a loss as to what to do.

Have you bin the see the Doctors? They might be able to do something and put your mind at rest. It could be nothing but its better to be safe than sorry. Is this your first

MommaVixen · 20/02/2018 13:12

I didnt find out i was pregnant till i was 2 months.
I had spotting not long before i found out i was pregnant n now im due to give birth tomorrow 😂
Hopefully this will help a bit but always check with the professionals :)

@MommaVixen Just spoke to my GP briefly and she said it's probably nothing to worry about and to contact them if I get extreme pain or a lot more bleeding. Because it's basically stopped now she said it's probably nothing to be concerned about. And at this early stage nothing would show up on a scan, but I'm still having cramps on and off! She didn't seem that concerned.

Dont. You want to keep ur head clean n stress free :) worrying about things lile that isnt going to help either of u. Have they given u a date for the scan? U could always request an earlier one to (or early as possible) to put ur mimd to rest. Have u had any trouble in the past or is this ur First pregnancy

SpongeCake23 · 20/02/2018 14:13

@MommaVixen This is my first pregnancy but I've always had horrendous periods. Especially the last year or so which is why I didn't think it would ever happen then after 6 months we got our BFP.
Still feels surreal.

No scan date yet, haven't even spoken to midwife. I just wish they'd hurry things along. I asked yesterday at my GP appointment if I could have an early scan to put my mind to rest but she refused unless it was serious and they felt very concerned.

Thats not really fair. Its always a mothers right to make sure things go right no matter. I got put on high risk due to breaking my back a few years ago n had plenty of scans. Even if ur not, its nice cuz if u have any doubts theyre normally pretty good. Even if they just check on the heart beat. Its worth it. I was lucky with fiding out at 9 weeks as i didnt have long to go to view the baby 😄

SpongeCake23 · 20/02/2018 17:23

Just had a BM (sorry tmi!) and had to strain a little (sorry again!) because I'm quite constipated and there was a little pink blood again when I wiped, very tiny, you'd have to really squint to see it.

I then pushed a finger up there with some tissue and pulled it out and there was some pinky blood on it mixed with CM but nothing more.

Can't stop obsessing and worrying. Feel really sick.
My boobs hurt and my nipples are burning! Feeling sorry for myself 😔

Thays a good sign of boobs still hurt. Dont obsess. Try not to think too much about it. Only time will tell

Your cervix could be irritated, I think it's called a friable cervix. I'm 9 weeks and almost every time I have bowel movement I spot pink. But only when I wipe. Ive had 2 early scans and baby's heartbeat is there and all seems fine. Midwife said cervix can become sensitive so the bowel movement can cause it to bleed slightly. (I have also had 2 x lletz so it will be extra sensitive!)

Try not to worry and maybe phone your midwife or GP to see if you can get an early scan. I got one at 6 weeks due to the spotting. Hope all goes well :)

ThorsMistress · 20/02/2018 19:49

I had cramping and pink spotting only when I wiped. Went for an early scan and saw a flickering heartbeat and they put me at 6+3. Now 9+1 and fingers crossed nothing since
