Help... Are Elizabeth Arden Ceramide capsules safe during pregnancy???

I have used Elizabeth Arden Ceramide for years.

It’s the Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules in particular.

Has anyone continued using these in pregnancy? I know there are a lot of things you can’t use. I’m 6w 4d, stopped using it at 6w when I realised I didn’t know if I should be using it or not.

Can anyone shed some light???

Thanks

Check the ingredients for retinol / retinyl / vitamin A. They are advised against in pregnancy.

They have retinyl palmitate so don’t take any more. It’s a form of Vitamin A and I understand that carries a risk of birth defects.

I’ll need to have a look for some new skin care products then.
Thank you x

At squiglyline did those Elizabeth arden capsules somewhat affect your baby, I was using the Retinol, the ceramide and night capsules a month before I found out that I was also pregnant, I'm so terrified as it is. Please can anyone assist me with this Information and how it could've probably affected me and my unborn baby. I was already a month through while I was using this product, I'm now 6weeks

I wouldn’t panic about damage having been done prior to 6 weeks as baby has a yolk sac for nourishment and doesn’t share your blood supply for a whole yet Smile
