Pregnant after ectopic

Hi all. My first pregnancy in July last year was ectopic and I had surgery to remove the right tube. Today I got a much wanted BFP and on the advice of my GP I'm due to attend the EPU tomorrow. They weren't very informative over the phone as to what they will actually do. I'm only 4 weeks so scan seems unlikely. Just wondering if anyone else had experience of this and can give me a heads up? Many thanks in advance x

Congratulations!!
The same happened to me. They just like to confirm that the pregnancy is in the right place, nothing to worry about.

Best of luck x

I was scanned at 5 and 6 weeks.

I had lots of sharp stretching pain likely due to my surgery so had a scan at 5 weeks and saw a sac in uterus. Scan at 6 weeks we saw a little heart beat Flowers

Thank you both! Fingers crossed x

Had scans today but nothing seen but thickening of uterus - was told this was to be expected at 4 weeks and we would see whether blood doubles in 48 hours (they were 287 today). Really hope they see everything in the right place next week. Scary after what happened last time. Think positive!
