Me and my DH are both keen runners and we‘re keen to take the baby out running once it’s old enough. If anyone has any advice on things we should consider when choosing the buggy or could recommend any makes that would be fab!

I have a BOB Ironman single and an Out n About Nipper double. My BOB is a US import so has a high weight limit, given that my older son is tall and heavy this really suits us.

The bigger the wheels the better for running (16" is ideal but from 12" up is ok). You'll want either a permanently fixed front wheel or one that can be locked into a fixed position. You'll also want suspension and inflatable tyres.

Bugaboo runner is the best for a single child IMO. We had that and used it all the time for the first, then got a Thule double chariot for #2. The Thule is also great - converts to a pram, running pram, bike trailer and cross country ski sled.

Feel free to PM me if you want more details - I did loads of research and spent a lot of time running with #1 in particular.
