Any recommendations of a good nursing/breastfeeding pillow?

I was given a ‘my breast friend’ pillow and it was fantastic. Firm, and clips around the back so the baby doesn’t slip down and you can use both hands and move around. They stop you stooping to feed too, so good for your back. I think they’re a bit pricey though.

I second a my breast friend. Bloody loved mine, more as dc got older-a six month old is bloody heavy!! Got mine off eBay.

I loved my My Breast Friend as well! Definitely one of my best pregnancy buys.

I got the bestselling Amazon one (with stars on it). It's fantastic, kept its shape well and I still use it now, almost a year later. Also used it to help baby sit up when she was younger. Cost 12 quid I think.

After buying a few different pillows nothing was as good as a My Brest Friend pillow. As others have said above it was far superior and so so good for your back as it's quite firm and baby doesn't just sink into it.

I have a v shaped memory foam cushion from Argos, not a special breastfeeding one but works perfectly for me (fed DD1 to 23 months on it and now DD2 is feeding on it at 12 months. Think it was £25. I like the v bit to balance iPad on.

I also bought the best seller off amazon - I love it

Can the Brest Friend Pillow be used up until 6 months or is it better for the newborn small baby age range? I'm worried if I spend so much it may not get used long enough!

I used the My Brest Friend pillow until my child was two and he stopped nursing. Highly recommend!

sammy891 · 20/02/2018 12:11

Thank you then it sounds like a good investment! Smile

You can use my Brest friend for any age (newborn to toddler)

sammy891 · 20/02/2018 21:47

Thank you everyone! I have ordered the Brest Friend on off eBay because I couldn't find it in stock anywhere else.

A friend gave me her old My Breast Friend pillow and it was great! I also used a small rectangle shape cushion from Ikea

stellaaaaaa · 21/02/2018 12:37

I picked up a V shaped pillow from Aldi the other day for £5.99. It's really helped me to sleep, wish I'd got one weeks ago!
