I’m currently 9weeks+4 ( had a early scan at 5weeks)
And since I woke up this morning I’ve had bad lower tummy pain and bad back pain :( which I know can be normal but it’s with pink blood but only when I wipe ? Can’t be seen by my early pregnancy clinic till Tuesday :(
Going crazy here just waiting for a big bleed anyone had this happen ? All stories welcome including the negatives I’m bracing myself for the worst outcome . Extra worried as I didn’t have anything like this with my last pregnancy ? Could the gap have a connection ds is only 10months and a emergency csection ? Fishing for anything good :(

I was told pink, fresh blood was okish early on. I had this on and off with mine.

I have 2 DC now (teens now) I had 5 MC and 1 eptopic.

I’d make sure to take things very easy, bed rest if you can until Tuesday unless you are in severe pain, clots or dark red blood.

I have you in my thoughts and wish you all the best Flowers

I had similar at 11 weeks. Was only when I wiped and lasted a day or two. I'm sure it's fine but definitely get it checked out just in case. I didnr because I didn't even know just was pregnant at the time and thought it wsd the start of my period.

tosleepallday · 17/02/2018 11:33

I'm sorry you're having to go through this
Where do you live? There are some hospitals that have emergency walk in clinics for early pregnancy, such as kings college hospital in south London
Even on a weekend they do scans in the morning if you attended A&E (this is at kings specifically).
Fingers crossed everything is ok

Funkyemzie · 17/02/2018 12:53

Hey hunni. I'm booked in for an Emergency scan on Tuesday too, also fearing the worst to be honest. The difference is that mine is just like my normal period which normally has clots so not sure what isn't normal for me. Back ache and lower abdomen pain as well, absolutely gutted and can't stop crying, this might sound strange but I haven't even felt pregnant, none of the normal symptoms just tired and that's it. Take care of yourself lovely. Xxx

I had on and off pink bleeding between 4 weeks and 10 weeks. At around 9 and 10 weeks I had a couple of heavier pink bleeds, which eventually turned into brown spotting until it stopped. I had about 4 scans at EPU and they were all OK. I'm 16 + 3 now. I'm sure you are googling like crazy. Try and relax, put your feet up and rest.

FranticallyPeaceful · 17/02/2018 18:35

9-11 weeks spotting is apparently really normal. This is my third pregnancy and I didn’t know so I was quite shocked when it happened around 10 weeks... something to do with the placenta growth and taking over

gryffen · 17/02/2018 19:11

Some can be quite common - any chance you have had sex or constipated recently?

If majorly worried or it get worse then go get seen as others will tell you.

All the best.

FindingNormal · 17/02/2018 19:20

My first pregnancy j had brown bleeding which lingered and got worse. Had a scan at 6 weeks and saw heartbeat. Bleeding continued until scan at 8 weeks when I was told my baby had died at about 7 weeks. Second pregnancy brown bleeding which progressed to a fairly big bright red bleed. Scan showed health baby and a cyst on my ovary. All went well and she is now nearly 3. Third pregnancy brown bleeding early days then nothing, came prem at 33 weeks. She's little but otherwise fine.

Hope you're ok. It's so worrying especially in the early days. Take care Thanks

AmyJessicax26 · 17/02/2018 19:35

The only thing I could do for myself untill Tuesday was take a test - atleast I now know if there’s something wrong it’s recent and within 2weeks my baby has been fine my friend recently had a mmc and has made me paranoid the thought of carrying a dead baby for 6weeks petrifies me :( like anyone I suppose x feeling abit pathetic but little reassurance is some x

Light bleeding can be normal.
Could you afford a private scan tomorrow? About £100 where I am.
Hope all ok in the end x

If it doesn't get any heavier and it's not bright red, you can take some comfort. How heavy is it? Is it just a little when you wipe?

AmyJessicax26 · 17/02/2018 20:31

It’s not heavy atall really didn’t see any a minute ago when I wiped either but it’s just the cramps which are still bothering me x

milney25 · 17/02/2018 20:46

Some cramping can be totally normal too. I hope you manage to get some sleep and give us an update tomorrow, let us know how you are getting on. Thanks

AmyJessicax26 · 17/02/2018 21:14

I know cramping can be normal but had nothing like this last time x

Thanks Amy, hope you can pass the time quickly until your scan. The waiting really is awful.

AmyJessicax26 · 18/02/2018 09:29

Hi lass

Yup sex can irritate the area and cause tint blood vessels to bleed - you only need to worry if bleeding is really heavy, bright red and with cramping - with Sex, cramping can happen after orgasm and also when constipated due to the gas build up which can hurt a bit.

Trust me, we all get the worry but just rest up and any major worries then you can phone NHS24 for advice etc.

Hi how are you feeling? I have an early scan today and I’m very nervous for the outcome. It’s a scary time isn’t it really?
