I'm not sure..
I haven't felt baby move as much as normal since yesterday. But occasionally moves when gently prodded or lay down.. But the movement feels gentler. Normally when. I go to bed baby moves so much it almost hurts. But didn't last night.. But when dp was talkingto bump there was wriggles...
I don't know if its because there's less space or what? I'm 37.3
Dp has had to. Go to work and I'm here with kids. DS has football till 11.30 so not sure whether to ring then or when dp gets home at 1? As my parents are working today and his live a fair distance away so would take forever to drop the kids there.

Call the hospital. Explain the situation. They can tell you how urgently you need to be seen.

ClareB83 · 17/02/2018 09:43

Yup call them. You're far enough along they'll want you to call.

DuggeeHugs · 17/02/2018 09:54

Call now, it is never worth leaving it. Could your DP come home early if necessary?

Sparklesdontshine · 17/02/2018 09:55

Call and get in for checks asap

ExhaustedAndHormonal · 17/02/2018 11:01

He can't come home early as they wouldn't allow it as would leave not enough people for the business to run safely so the boss would have to shut. Gonna pick. DS up from football in a min and ring as he's. Old enough to wait in waiting room with the 5 yr old if need be xx
Thank you x

How are you getting on OP? X

TammySwansonTwo · 17/02/2018 15:32

Please, please go and get checked out. One of my twins stopped moving at 35 weeks but I didn’t know because the other twin was so active. I went to get checked out at the insistence of my MW because I just didn’t feel right. If I hadn’t gone in that evening he wouldn’t be here. Please don’t wait. Call and go in ASAP, it’s probably fine but this is something you must take very seriously!

autumncountryrose · 17/02/2018 16:19

Please call them!

I'm 39 weeks and the types of movement have changed but never the frequency or pattern.

The midwives will always be glad you've gone in, even if everything is okay x

Astrid2 · 17/02/2018 16:28

I've had this and it was put down to a change in baby position. But always, always get checked out. It's much better to get the reassurance!

LostMyBaubles · 17/02/2018 17:47

Defo best to get checked

ExhaustedAndHormonal · 17/02/2018 20:02

Went and got checked out. Altho not much movement when there, there was some. Heartbeat etc was all fine. But they're going to send me for a scan Monday as this is third time this has happened plus previous growth issues.
They said if all well that's fine. If any issues on scan then they will arrange induction.
She seem to be moving a bit more since.
Thank you ladies. Xx

Really glad things are okay now and they’re scanning you on Monday but please go back in the meantime if you’re concerned. The twin who stopped moving had been dropping down the growth charts in my last few scans, last one his legs were below the 5th centile but they didn’t seem worried - I wish now that I had made a fuss but I didn’t know any better. Turns out he had IUGR (growth restriction) and they hadn’t picked up on it. I’m sure your baby is fine but if you feel like something isn’t right, trust your instincts even if you feel like a pain in the arse!
