Did anyone sense twins whilst pregnant?

Hey
This is a strange one most likely.
This is my second pregnancy and I feel as though things are a whole lot different. I feel like I'm carrying twins! Did anyone else have this strange feeling?
I'm around 8 weeks pregnant, severe nipple pain, stretching pains (but nothing like the last time), back ache to hell and back, exhaustion etc. On top of the fact I'm already noticeably bigger and pregnant looking already!!
My mum was an identical twin and it's Hereditary...
Do you show sooner in second pregnancy?
Can anyone give me any advice. I really want to get an early scan but don't know if it's going to be more trouble than it's worth

I was way bigger on my second pregnancy which turned out to be twins but I had absolutely noooo idea till the 12 week scan that there was twins in there!

I don't think identical twins are hereditary. I think it's non identical twins. Do you have any of those in your family?

It's fraternal not identical twins that ate hereditary.
I think the "is it twins" passes through everyone's mind at least once.
A friend who had twins then a singleton said her symptoms were stronger with the singleton.
And at 8 weeks with my singleton I did wonder if it was twins as I felt I had a bump, turned out to be bloat from trapped wind Blush.

I was bigger with second pregnancy and showed earlier - many do as it’s all a bit looser. You also pick up symptoms as you know what to expect. I did think twins as my husband is a twin but it wasn’t.
I didn’t have a clue with the actual twins until about 16/17weeks when I felt movements all over the place rather than just in one area. When I booked with midwife about 18 weeks she agreed it felt like two babies.
