Kidney stone

Has anyone had a kidney stone in pregnancy and if so tell me how it feels?? Thanks xxxx

I did 4 weeks ago when I was 19 wks pregant.

I felt like someone had stabbed me in my left side. It was incredibly painful and i was very restless when the pain hit, couldn’t get in any position to ease it. Pain was on and off, maybe 20mins of pain and then 10mins without.

I went to hospital and they kept me on the ante natal ward for 2 days while I passed them so they could help control the pain.

Baby is fine, was super wriggly when I was in pain though (actually put my mind at rest that I could keep feeling movement).

Do you think you might have them?

Yeah I've been so worried, went to the doctors yesterday and they said sounds like a bad back, but it's got progressively worse and worse to the point it feels like someone has stabbed me on my right side... I've never been in so much pain! Did you call the Maternity ward? My gp has been so useless with constant wrong diagnosis. Paracetamol doesn't touch it xx
