Worried about where baby is!

Okay I've posted something similar before and got many reassuring replies so apologies! Its just that I'm going to have to be more graphic in this one. I'm 20 wks PG and baby seems very low down. My pubic area is hard and swollen but whats worrying me is when I feel the kicks they feel as if they are in my....Errr how do i say this....Entrance area. Just feels impossibly low! I'm sitting at work doing pelvic floor exercises because it feels as if baby is about to drop out.

Sympathies pupple, it's a weird sensation, isn't it? Ds was like that - I carried him really low, and this baby felt the same at 20 weeks (I seem to remember starting a thread with the title "my pelvis has hiccups" )

Don't worry - totally normal, and you may find that as your uterus expands the baby will move up more - I'm 28 weeks now and this baby has certainly moved into a slightly less disconcerting position

Hi there puppie, I'm exactly the same, 20 weeks pg and most of the movements I'm getting (still pretty faint) are really low, as though they're behind my pubic bone. I sometimes feel as though I could stick my finger up my wotsit and tickle the baby's feet! When I lie on my back the bit of me that bulges is only the bikini line area. Apparently it's totally normal, I've got a book that gives you rough measurements for each week, and our babies are about 16cms head to rump, so I suppose there's still room for them to sit quite low down, esp with their feet tucked under

TheArmadillo · 02/05/2007 12:38

ds was really low at that stage. When I had my scan erm they were practically in my trousers

It wasn't a problem and he moved around later.

I'm 21 weeks and mine feels exactly the same, so I'm sure it's normal

Hi Puppie- I'm nearly 29 weeks and still get low down punches (also get them right in my ribs too). Some times they feel as if they are going to break my waters but I've spoken to a few people about this who know what I'm talking about and have experienced the same. All very normal I'd say!

Hi Puppie
We chatted before about the same thing in another thread I'm glad someone else has mentioned feeling kicks in their "entrance area"!!! It doesn't feel so much like strong kicking when the baby's down there but just like ripples through the vaginal area!! Very strange sensation...
I'm 24 weeks today and I think the baby has started to move upwards as I've totally ballooned in the last couple of days but when I'm sitting at my desk in work, I'm still feeling some rumblings down below and it's definitely not wind!!

My LO was low down too, but at almost 27 week they are higher now I still get the odd kick down there but more under my rib's now!

Thanks Everyone!
