Hi mummas Smile
So 2 days ago (34+6) I got diagnosed with Polyhydramnios. Babies growing fine and no defects or problems shown on ultrasound scan but they do want to test me for gestational diabetes next week. I have so many questions for the lovely ladies who have suffered from this before!!

How far along were you when you got diagnosed?

Did baby come early?

Were you able to have a vaginal birth or C section?

Was baby in good health (i.e. No congenital defects, etc) ?

Any complications during labour/birth?

If anyone could answer these for me just so I know what to expect as doctors haven't really explained to me what happens. Thanks Smile

Have had it twice.

First time baby was born with ventouse at 40 weeks, no problems.

Second baby (also had gestational diabetes) was induced due to size at 37 weeks. Vaginal birth with no interventions.

The main problem for me is that I was enormous and it stretched my skin and gave diastis recti. Doctors have said that the improvement I’ll see is limited. Sad. But children both born safe and well.
